Mission Statement
The mission of the Fond du Lac Cardinal Athletic Alumni Association, Inc. is to engage former Goodrich/FDL High School athletes, coaches, cheerleaders, and supporters to help strengthen current and future Cardinal athletes and programs through financial assistance.
Statement of Purpose
The Fond du Lac Cardinal Athletic Alumni Association, Inc. is a charitable, non-profit, fully recognized 501C3 organization
- Our purpose is to encourage enthusiastic athletic alumni support and interest in Fond du Lac High School athletics.
- Support ALL Fond du Lac High School student-athletes in all sports.
- Financially contribute to the advancement and needs of athletic programs at Fond du Lac High School.
The Fond du Lac Cardinal Athletic Alumni Association, Inc. is a gift-receiving organization for Fond du Lac High School. We want to engage those who care about the past, present, and future of FDL HS athletics by providing opportunities to enhance the present & future Cardinal athletic programs and has guaranteed ethical stewardship of the gifts it has received.
Because of alumni and friends, the FDL HS athletic programs will never stop transforming lives. Your gift, big or small, makes all the difference to continuing the Cardinal athletic experience you remember. If you would like to help maintain Cardinal excellence for future generations, please make a gift to the Fond du Lac Cardinal Athletic Alumni Association, Inc.
The initial project is to equip the Theisen, Woodworth, & Sabish Middle School weightrooms with updated & appropriate training equipment. The present status at Sabish & Woodworth has been outdated since 1980’s. Some of the equipment @ Woodworth & Sabish is the same equipment that was there when you attended Jr High/middle school. This is a $75,000 project. Photos of the new equipment are also attached – each middle school will receive 2 rigs as shown along with the other equipment.
CAAA, Inc. donations are tax deductible under the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501 (c) (3). We do also qualify to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts.
Donation Types
TEAM donation $20 – $99
ALL-CONFERENCE donation $100 – $499 Those making the All-Conference donation level will have their name posted at one of the middle schools of your choice.
ALL STATE donation $500 – $999
ALL-AMERICAN donation $1,000 – $1,999
HALL of FAME donation $2000 – Up
NOTE – Those making any of the 3 donation levels above will have their name posted at all 3 middle schools.

A bequest may be in the form of cash, securities, real estate or other property. You should specify that the Cardinal Athletic Alumni Association is to receive a certain amount or percentage of your estate, particular assets or the remainder of your estate after providing for heirs.

Naming Opportunities
Gifts that qualify for naming opportunities are a meaningful and lasting way to impact the lives of present and future Cardinal athletes. The gift can serve as an avenue for paying tribute to a loved one or deserving organization. Naming opportunities are available for endowed scholarships, endowed chairs and professorships, capital projects and other unrestricted endowments.
Endowments
Some of the most effective and far-reaching gifts are those given to create an endowment. Endowed funds are critical to the financial stability of Cardinal athletic programs. The present and future revenue streams that endowed funds generate allow Fond du Lac athletics the stability and support it needs to maintain the athletic programs in the Fond du Lac school district.
An endowment is based on an initial gift of substantial size that in turn provides annual income earnings generated by investment of the principal. With an endowment fund, your gift is invested with other gifts to maximize its value. Annual amounts are distributed to the program you have designated, while the fund principal remains to provide support in perpetuity.
